2014 Fall Antique Show Guide

I don’t know about you, but fall is my favorite time of the year. There is nothing better than grabbing a hot cup of tea or coffee, a warm biscuit, tossing on old boots and soft flannel and heading outdoors on a crisp fall morning. Just remember to grab your tote bag so that you can fill it full of treasures at one of these many fall antiquing events…

What’s gonna be there: 80 vendors featuring antiques, collectibles, jewelry, crafts and more!

Liberty, NC Antique Festival

What: Liberty Antique Festival
When: Friday & Saturday, September 26 & 27 – Rain or Shine! 8am – 5pm
Where: Pike Family Farm, Liberty N.C.
How much: $7 admission fee
What’s gonna be there: 400 dealers from more than 25 states pack a 100-acre farm with 18th-20th Century antiques. No craft and no reproductions! Sounds like a good time to me!

What’s gonna be there: One of my favorite events! Tons of indoor and outdoor vendors with everything to advertising, shabby chic, rustic, primitive, high-end to flea market style…it has it all.

25th Annual Harvest Festival, Bowling Green, VA

What: 25th Annual Harvest Festival
When: Saturday, October 18th – Rain or Shine! 9am – 4pm
Where: Town of Bowling Green, VA
How much: FREE
What’s gonna be there: Antique car competition like you’ve never seen, antique tractors, crafts, food vendors, a stage for live music, bluegrass, pony rides for the kiddies and a farm petting area. There are two small antique stores in the town’s main strip, along with some of the most beautiful Victorian homes you’ll ever see.

51st Annual Delaware Antique Show

When: November 7th – 9th – 11am – 6pm
Where: Chase Center, Wilmington, DE
How much: $15 for non-members
What’s gonna be there: 60 dealers highlighting the best of American antiques and decorative arts. There will also be a lecture by Jessica Fellowes – author, historian and niece of Downton Abby creator Julian Fellowes.
